Navman Spirit and Spirit TV swipe 23 awards across Western Europe in 2009

Mio today announced that throughout 2009 it has been presented with 23 awards and Editors’ recommendations across Western Europe for the Navman Spirit products, which run on its user-friendly “Spirit” navigation software. The intuitive and easy to use operation has been well received by consumers and professional media in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, France, Spain, the Nordics, Italy and Greece.

Since its launch in 2009, the Spirit software has been praised for its easy-to-use intuitive user interface, keyword search, explore functions, and accurate positioning. In the UK, Personal Computer World granted the Navman Spirit 500 with its “Editor’s Choice” and “Best Buy” awards. The product was also honored with the “Recommendation” by PC Today in Spain.

Mio’s TV PNDs are the first of their kind to offer the perfect combination of professional navigation and rich digital TV content at an affordable price. The Navman Spirit V505 TV with 5” screen recently earned the editor’s highest evaluation from NaviConnect, Germany and FWD Magazine, Belgium.

User friendliness, high quality reception, a clearly arranged individual navigation solution with useful extra information and high class manufacture make the navigation and TV combination a clear recommendation.” Further recognition comes from Demark, Spain, and Austria. Windows Vista magazine in France particularly highlights the slim form factor of the Mio Moov Spirit V735TV whilst PC Tipp in Switzerland gives five stars for its multimedia capabilities and the innovative Explore Mode function.
