Pre-installed safety camera data
Safety camera data comes pre-installed on Mio sat nav devices giving you warnings of camera locations 'out of the box'. On our latest products, the Moov and C-Series, safety camera data is provided as a free 12 month trial (you will need to purchase a subscription to download the very latest safety camera data). These models will also intelligently warn of cameras based on direction of travel and your speed relative to the local limit at that location.
Alerts
There are audible and visual warnings on your Mio to let you know when you're approaching known fixed safety camera locations, so you can adjust your speed accordingly and travel through trouble spots safely.
Subscription service
Like anti-virus protection on your PC your safety camera data is only as good as your last update which is why we strongly recommend you purchase an ongoing subscription to safety camera data updates.
