Mio Technology Europe today launches the C728, its first personal navigation device with full multimedia capabilities, including live TV. The C728 has been designed for both family and commercial vehicles and combines multimedia entertainment with state-of-the-art GPS functionality.
Multimedia features
The C728 comes equipped with a dual receiver which allows the user to enjoy hundreds of local live digital TV and radio channels wherever their journey takes them. These channels can be enjoyed with movie theatre quality thanks to the C728’s 7 inch LCD screen and 800 x 480 pixel resolution. In addition to live TV and radio, the device has 2GB of storage and multiple input ports as well as an SD card slot which means users can watch their favourite movies, display hundreds of digital photos and listen to their music files. Sound can be exported to the car audio system via an FM transmitter or enjoyed through the built in two-speaker high fidelity sound system.
Navigation features
The C728 has an impressive 7 inch touchscreen, one of the largest screens on the market, making GPS navigation more pleasurable as maps are clearer and on-screen icons are easier to operate. The built in Traffic receiver and Safety Camera data takes the stress out of long journeys and all the devices have the very latest MioMap preloaded in the flash memory.
