Safety camera data comes pre-installed on Mio devices

Keeping your Mio up to date with safety camera data means that you’re warned in advance of known accident blackspots on your route. Which means that you know in good time where you will need to watch your speed and take extra care on your journey.

Safety Cameras are available in following countries: Andorra, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia (St.Petersburg, Moscow, Sochi and main connecting roads), Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.


Pre-installed safety camera data

Safety camera data comes pre-installed on Mio sat nav devices giving you warnings of camera locations 'out of the box'. On our latest products, the Moov Spirit and Moov M, safety camera data is provided as a free 12 month trial (you will need to purchase a subscription to download the very latest safety camera data). These models will also intelligently warn of cameras based on direction of travel and your speed relative to the local limit at that location.

Alerts

There are audible and visual warnings on your Mio to let you know when you're approaching known fixed safety camera locations, so you can adjust your speed accordingly and travel through trouble spots safely.

Subscription service

Like anti-virus protection on your PC your safety camera data is only as good as your last update which is why we strongly recommend you purchase an ongoing subscription to safety camera data updates.

With regular updates via the Mio desktop software you can be certain you're kept up to date on the latest safety camera locations.
